The Frederick Fair in Frederick County Maryland was held during September 13 through September 21, 2024. During this time Frederick County Fire & Rescue volunteers come together countywide to support the Frederick Fair by providing Emergency Medical Services and Fire Prevention. Our volunteers are willing and ready to serve covering the EMS tent located close to building 18.

Additionally, volunteers provide fire prevention material to anyone requesting it.

"Gear Up" is also there recruiting. This year several of the Frederick County Public School Work Based Learning Interns (FCWBL) were out recruiting new volunteers to join our service. Volunteers are greatly needed as our service area continues to grow in addition to increased call volumes.
