Six times a year, Frederick County Volunteer Fire and Rescue Services sponsors new member orientation training classes. - "Gear Up". This class prepares new volunteers with information regarding our fire and emergency medical services. This is the first step of becoming an operational member.....riding the apparatus and caring for patients and property.

The last class of 2024 graduated on December 8, 2024. Students attending the class were from eight corporations across Frederick County.
They are ready to proceed in their volunteering efforts moving them closer to obtaining their goals!
